I design and ship backend systems for fintech — payment rails, core banking APIs and the integrations that hold them together. Seven years in, most of that inside a bank, I have learned that the interesting part is rarely the code: it is the settlement edge case at 2am, the third-party contract that changes without warning, the legacy system nobody wants to touch.

I work mainly in C# and .NET, with a strong bias toward boring, observable, well-tested services. I have modernised legacy cores, ported desktop apps to the web, and built integrations with card processors, central bank platforms and government registries.

Rabitabank

Core banking and integration engineering inside one of Azerbaijan’s retail banks.

Design and maintain API endpoints consumed by external partners, processors and government systems.
Modernised the tech stack of leading core legacy systems, moving critical paths onto ASP.NET Core.
Ported several internal desktop applications to the web without interrupting daily banking operations.
Support and continued development of the in-house ERP used across the organisation.

Developed the platform as three cooperating applications.
Built a Web API for internal business operations to reach external resources.
